Hi and welcome! My name is Kristen, and I’m the mind and the fingers behind Minoux Jewelry. I’ve decided to firmly embrace 1999, and do this blog thing!

Why?

Well first of all, I miss you folks. I started out selling at large fairs, and I got to interact with lots of you. Ladies tried on jewelry, we chatted, it was awesome.

Now I sell online and wholesale to shops, and I hardly ever meet you anymore. So yeah, I’m really looking forward to your comments, feedback, emails, photos, all of it.

And, I have tons I’d like to share. Service-y information, giveaways, photographs, the ins and outs of urban farming, Portland stuff, before-and-afters, recipes, people who do cool things, just tell me when to stop…

Ok, stop. But tell me more about yourself.

Aw, I thought you’d never ask. I live with my cute hubby and seven chickens on our half acre urban-farm-in-the-making in the middle of Portland, Oregon. Portland stereotype– we’ve got it covered.

I make all the jewelry by hand in a cozy studio loft in our big red barn. I’m a Virgo. I dislike waste and clutter (surprise!)  I have an ongoing love affair with Efficiency, but I’m trying to see other people. Sometimes I use too many exclamation points. I volunteer with Bark, the best enviro non-profit ever.
